Superstar Mahesh Babu’s birthday on 9th August is going to be a special one not just for fans but the entire industry and all the movie lovers. To mark this occasion, as many as 150 special shows of the iconic film Pokiri will be screened across Telugu states. Here’s a breakdown of shows planned so far:

Needless to say, the craze for Pokiri is outstanding and the movie screenings got filled up just in minutes. This will be a new benchmark for Tollywood in terms of special shows on birthdays and is indeed a trendsetting event. Recently Okkadu special shows were also organized which were a massive success as well.
Meanwhile, Superstar Mahesh Babu is gearing up for the release of his next project SSMB 28. The film will go on sets next month and the unit is looking to release this film on 6th January 2023. SS Thaman will compose the music for this massive project.
As per reports, Mahesh will play the role of a politician in this much-awaited project. This will be the second time Superstar will be seen in a political role after Bharat Ane Nenu. Pooja Hegde will be paired opposite Mahesh in this project which will mark his third collaboration with Trivikram after Athadu and Khaleja.
