If the inside reports are to be believed, director Vamsi Paidipally is going to work with none other than Superstar Rajinikanth. The film will be produced by Dil Raju. It is being said that Dil Raju and Vamsi Paidipally are planning to meet Rajinikanth after completion of the script. Presently, the script work is going on. This news has got mixed response, as Telugu and Tamil movie lovers are wondering whether Vamsi Paidipally will be able to impress Superstar Rajinikanth.
We know that Dil Raju and Vamsi Paidipally have recently worked with Ilayathalapathy Vijay for Varisu, which was released in Sankranti/Pongal Season this year and became a blockbuster. Actually, there were reports earlier that the Vamsi – Vijay combo will be repeated but with Vijay is expected to collaborate Atlee for his next film. So Vamsi paidipally shifted his route towards Rajinikanth and started preparing a solid script for him.
Meanwhile, Dil Raju wants to strengthen his ground in the other languages and this film will be another attempt from him in this direction. After he failed in Bollywood with Jersey and HIT movies remakes, he stopped making films in Hindi and focused on films from the South. As said above, he already produced Varisu with Ilayathalapathy Vijay and now is all set to get Superstar Rajinikanth on board for a project.
The project will start rolling later this year. Super Star Rajinikanth is done with the shoot of Jailer and the film will be released this year. He also signed his 170th film in the direction of Jai Bhim fame TJ Gnanavel and this film will also be released next year. If all goes well, Dil Raju’s film with Rajinikanth too will be released next year. An official announcement regarding the same is awaited.
