A person named Nilesh Chopra has been arrested recently by the Police in a case of alleged involvement in Cricket betting. The individual was also speculated as working for the renowned Tollywood Production house Vyjayanthi Movies. There was also criticism on the Production House with this incident. Now, the have strongly countered the allegations.
Vyjayanthi Movies on their official X/Twitter handle tweeted, “It has come to our notice that a person named Nilesh Chopra had been arrested by SR Nagar Police for online gambling.
THE SAID INDIVIDUAL HAS NEVER WORKED WITH US AT VYJAYANTHI MOVIES OFFICE AND WE ARE UNAWARE OF ANY ASSOCIATION WITH HIM IN ANY OTHER FORM.
We have formally communicated the above-mentioned facts to the concerned authorities at the SR Nagar Police Station, Hyderabad. We sincerely request the media to verify the facts before publishing any information…”
The Police are currently investigating the case and further details regarding the individual will also be out soon.
