Tamil star Hero Vijay is showing his stardom once again with his upcoming film, Jana Nayagan’s business, and he proves why he is Tamil Nadu’s No. 1 with it. The film has recorded the highest theatrical business for any Tamil film.
Coolie, which was also a big hyped movie from Tamil, was packed with a massive star cast featuring Superstar Rajinikanth as the lead. The film was made by no. 1 director Lokesh Kanagaraj, and it had done 100 Cr business in Tamil Nadu.
Whereas Vijay, with a director like H. Vinoth, created an all-time record business of 105 Cr, showing how strong and unanimous his market and stardom are in Tamil Nadu. Many are wondering because he is retiring from movies at this stage and entering politics.
Not only with business, but Vijay also proves his consistency at the box office, as his films continuously put up strong numbers irrespective of word of mouth. His last two films, Leo and GOAT, joined the 200 Cr club with mixed WOM, and other than these two, only Ponniyin Selvan 1 did 200 Cr, which shows the power of Thalapathy Vijay as a star hero.
