Family Star (2024) is a romantic comedy-drama film starring Vijay Devarakonda and Mrunal Thakur in lead roles. Directed by Parasuram Petla, it narrates the tale of Govardhan, a young man from an Indian middle-class family who is struck between the financial responsibilities of his family. His life changes when a young woman, Indu, rents the upper portion of his house.

Bankrolled by ace producer ‘Dil’ Raju, the film’s music is composed by Gopi Sundar. It marks Vijay’s second collaboration with the director after the blockbuster Geetha Govindam (2018).
