Vettaiyan starring Rajinikanth released amid great hype and expectations. But the film managed to sustain poorly at the box office. Vettaiyan performed decent in the first weekend but ended up becoming a failure later. With this, Vettaiyan is all set to arrive on the OTT space in just 4 weeks.
All the South Indian Biggie films have been arriving on the OTT within 4 weeks after their release recently. Vettaiyan too is following the same pattern and now arriving on Amazon Prime Video from 8th November in all the prominent languages.
Vettaiyan has managed to gross around 250 crores worldwide against the pre-release business of 325 crores. The film has quite obiviously registered itself as box office failure at the box office with this performance. Rajinikanth is also said to have committed to doing one more film for the Production house, Lyca Production as a compensation for Vettaiyan and their previous collaborations‘ losses.
