Vijay’s Vaarasudu, the dubbed version of Tamil film Varisu is releasing in Telugu States tomorrow. Since many days, the controversy regarding the theater’s allocation for this film in Telugu States has been in the discussions of industry circles and movie-goers.
Tomorrow, Vaarasudu is releasing in all the good screens of every area. The advantage of releasing on festival day with good screens can become an immense advantage for the film. In most of the locations Vaarasudu will have the strongest screens than the Telugu Films Veera Simha Reddy and Waltair Veerayya as Dil Raju locked many single stations with Vaarasudu movie on festival days to cash the season.
Vijay and Dil Raju team had first planned Varisu/Vaarasudu for 12th January release but with Thunivu’s announcement Varisu had to push its release date to 11th January, and they had to postpone Vaarasudu to 14th January as they thought Pre festival days can upset the film’s collections.
Moreover, as 2 Big movies from Telugu Film Industry Waltair Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy were in competition, the team of Dil Raju felt that these releases may affect their film in massive way.
We need to wait and see how Vaarasudu will fare in the Sankranti festival days, facing Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Waltair Veerayya and Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Veera Simha Reddy.
