Actress Trisha Krishnan has strongly reacted to her name being dragged into cheap political controversies through an official statement. She expressed deep anger over the issue and said she never expected people holding high positions to make such indecent remarks.
Through her legal team, she issued a firm warning and demanded that her privacy be respected. Taking to social media, Trisha released an official statement and stated, “Disrespect should and always will be called out.”
It is not new for political leaders to make irresponsible comments about film stars. When actors step into politics, they often become easy targets for harsh and unnecessary criticism. However, making personal and derogatory remarks is never justified.
Recently, after launching his political party (TVK – Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam), some leaders attempted to drag his personal life into political debates, which is completely inappropriate.
A BJP leader made controversial remarks about Vijay and Trisha. He reportedly said that Vijay should “step out of his house first” and claimed that only after distancing himself from his association with Trisha would he understand reality.
Such comments have sparked criticism, with many calling them unnecessary and disrespectful.
