The wait for Prabhas fans is finally over. The makers have confirmed the Salaar 2 shoot timeline for Salaar 2 today, on the occasion of Prabhas’ birthday. The makers also posted a birthday wish on X (formerly Twitter) in the morning.
The key update came through the promotional video of 418, presented by Prashanth Neel. In the video, Prabhas asks Neel for an update on the Salaar sequel.
Salaar 2 Shoot Starts Next June
Neel replies that the shoot of Salaar 2 will start next June, i.e. June 2027. The announcement has excited fans, who have waited years for the sequel to Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire (2023). Earlier, producer Vijay Kiragandur had said the film would begin shooting soon.
Fans now want to see how Neel presents the star in Salaar: Part 2 – Shouryaanga Parvam. The film is part of a busy line-up for the actor, as covered in our look at Prabhas' upcoming projects.
Salaar 2 Producer and Cast
Vijay Kiragandur is producing the film under Hombale Films. The first part featured Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Bobby Simha and Sriya Reddy in important roles.
