Yash is gearing up for one of the most-awaited films of his career, Toxic. The film’s synopsis is currently doing the rounds on the internet. According to it, the film is set in Goa and spans several decades, from the early 1940s to the 1970s. Though Goa is often seen as a peaceful and beautiful place, Toxic shows a darker side hidden beneath that charm.
The story follows a man who rises to power in a time when crime and smuggling are growing fast along the coast. Against the backdrop of fading colonial rule and the rise of crime gangs, he builds his empire through violence, fear, and betrayal. In this world, power cannot be achieved easily, and it should be demanded.
As smuggling routes turn into war zones and trust breaks down among allies, survival becomes more important than loyalty. It looks like the story of Toxic is a bit similar to the KGF series, but it explores darker themes and shows how the protagonist’s choices shape his destiny, and how the biggest battle he faces is the one within himself.
Toxic is directed by Geetu Mohandas and features Yash in the lead role. The film is scheduled for release on March 19, 2026. Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, and Tara Sutaria play crucial roles in this film.
