Actress Aishwarya Rajesh, who was recently in the news for her alleged comments on Rashmika Mandanna has talked about her not getting the opportunities to work in the Telugu Film Industry. She feels that though she is a Telugu Girl, she did not get many offers in Telugu. It is a known fact that Telugu girls are not much into acting, however a few Telugu girls like Dimple Hayati and Sre Leela are getting opportunities in the recent days.
“Being a Telugu girl, I am getting very few big film offers in Telugu. My father did Telugu films, my grandfather did Telugu films. My aunt has done more than 500 films in Telugu. I have such a background. But I am not getting many opportunities in Telugu. That’s why I am staying in Chennai instead of Telugu. I am doing Tamil films. We still speak only Telugu at home. I was born and brought up in Chennai. But I am not getting big film offers in Telugu” she said in a recent interview.
Aishwarya Rajesh’s father’s name is Rajesh. He was once a famous actor in Telugu. Aishwarya Rajesh’s mother is a classical dancer. Aishwarya Rajesh’s grandfather, Amar Nath, was a generational character artist in Tollywood. Her aunt’s name is Srilakshmi. Recently, a Controversial statement had spread like Aishwarya Rajesh stated that she would have suited the Srivalli character in Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa The Rise’ better than Rashmika Mandanna if she were given the chance. To clear the air, she issued a formal statement saying that she just said she wanted to play a role like Srivalli and that she was not trying to underestimate Rashmika’s performance in the role.
