Director Maruthi and Pan India Star Prabhas enthralled fans and audiences with the teaser of The Raja Saab. While the response has been largely positive, let’s check the positives and negatives of The Raja Saab Teaser.
First things first, Prabhas looks cool/stylish, and his dialogue delivery/slang are at their best. Every dialogue of him in the teaser entertains, which promises that the long wait for a proper entertainer from the Baahubali actor will end with this film.
Revealing the basic plot and preparing the audiences for a large-scale horror entertainer is good thinking from Maruthi and team. Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt’s screen presence works well in the teaser.
The lead actresses and supporting cast also shine in the teaser with their minor parts. However, the background music by Thaman could have been better, and it just stays at an okay level.
Coming to the VFX work, it works in some places while it disappoints in some places. Certainly, the film needs to improve on this aspect if it has to score a solid hit at the box office.
The makers stated that the film is the biggest horror fantasy of Indian cinema. So, if we look at the positives and negatives of The Raja Saab Teaser, the parts of horror, comedy, and romance look promising, but the visual highlights and the action part are not that great.
The vintage Prabhas factor will definitely work with Telugu audiences, as the teaser concentrates on his looks and comic timing. Whereas for pan-India audiences, the glimpse might look average because other big aspects are missing in the teaser.
Overall, there were not many expectations for this Maruthi directorial before, but this teaser creates a decent level of anticipation among audiences, especially Telugu cinema fans.
