The Raja Saab 1st Weekend Collections

Prabhas’ The Raja Saab opened with a strong opening at the box office, collecting over ₹100 crore worldwide on its first day, with the total being around ₹103 crore, and the film completes its first weekend with a moderate total.

The film saw a decline on Day 2, collecting about ₹34 crore gross, followed by a further drop on Day 3 with approximately ₹24 crore. With this, the total worldwide gross of The Raja Saab for the opening weekend stands at around ₹160 crore.

Considering the film’s business value, this is a below-par weekend performance. The movie has recovered only about 40% of its breakeven target, which is around ₹400 crore. The biggest concern is that collections from other language versions are very weak, including Hindi, which is contributing minimal numbers.

After the weekend, there is little hope for significant collections from non-Telugu versions. From now on, the film will have to depend mainly on the Telugu version for its collections. To reach breakeven, it still needs to collect around ₹250 crore more, which looks practically impossible. Even with festival support, it remains to be seen how much the film can collect in the coming days.
