The Great Pre-Wedding Show is the latest entertainer arrived in theaters alongside many movies on November 7th. The film stars Masooda fame Thiruveer as the lead and it garnered a decent amount of interest among audiences. Let’s check how the film has been made in our review.

Story:

Ramesh (played by Thiruveer) is a small-town photographer who runs a modest studio that also doubles as a xerox shop. He quietly admires Hema (Tina Shravya), who works at the Village Panchayat office across the street. Though they care for each other, neither openly expresses their feelings. Ramesh is hired to shoot a pre-wedding photoshoot for a couple, Anand and Soundarya.

But things take a chaotic turn when the chip containing the footage goes missing. The rest of the story follows how Ramesh deals with the confusion and tries to fix the situation.

Performances:

Thiruveer fits the role perfectly and gives a very natural performance. He brings impact even to simple scenes. Tina Shravya is pleasant and adds value to the story. Narendra Ravi as Anand and Yamni Nageshwar as Soundarya are both convincing and deliver strong performances as a couple. The actors playing their parents also do a good job and suit their roles well.

Analysis:

Directed by Rahul Srinivas, The Great Pre-Wedding Show is a simple story set in a small-town backdrop. The first half moves slowly as the characters and setting are introduced. The romantic and fun moments between Ramesh and Hema aren’t very strong but have a few engaging scenes. The pace picks up once Anand and Soundarya’s wedding is fixed.

The scenes around the pre-wedding shoot are shown in a humorous way, and the director nicely captures the growing bond between the couple. The film moves with timely twists up to the interval.

After a brief backstory, the plot becomes predictable, but the narration keeps it engaging. The situational comedy works well and makes the audience care about the characters. A touch of emotion is added near the climax, but it’s kept subtle, and the film ends on a light and cheerful note.
