That Hero is now Director for his film

Thupparivaalan which was dubbed into Telugu as Detective starring Vishal and Anu Emanuel scored decent success in Tamil while a flop in Telugu.

Due to its online and theatrical appreciation, director Mysskin planned a sequel with the same crew and cast. While shooting, there have been certain disagreements in regards to escalating budget between Vishal and Mysskin. As a result of which, Vishal took upon himself to direct the remaining portion of the film to keep the budget in check.

Thupparivaalan2 is planned to release in the 2nd half of 2020 with a simultaneous release in Telugu.
