Naga Chaitanya’s latest film, Thandel is slated for release worldwide on 7th February. The team is currently busy in promotional activities and the pre-release event was also conducted yesterday amid the presence of the cast and crew. The team is also planning for hiked ticket prices in Telugu States.
It is learnt that the team is going ahead with no hikes in Telangana, and the film will have the usual prices of ₹295 for multiplexes and ₹175 for Single Screens. The bookings have already opened here, and coming to AP, the team has applied for a hike of ₹50 for both multiplexes and single screens. The current prices for multiplex are ₹177 and ₹144 for Single Screen. A G.O. is also expected from the Government regarding the hike shorty.
The bookings are also delayed because of the same reason. The film, on the other hand, has been censored with a U/A certificate and also has a runtime of 151.23 minutes, i.e., 2 hours, 31 minutes, and 23 seconds. Thandel has to achieve around 40 crores share in Telugu States for the breakeven. Fans and Audiences have high expectations of the film and the makers are also aiming for a Pan India success with the film.
