They stated that only a few scenes were inspired by Bhagavanth Kesari, especially the one discussing “Good Touch and Bad Touch” with women. Fans and audiences believed the makers’ words since the film was also being released in Telugu.
Fans were very particular that Jana Nayagan should not be a remake, as it is Vijay’s last film as a hero.

After watching the visuals in the song, many fans and viewers now strongly feel that Jana Nayagan is indeed a remake of Bhagavanth Kesari.
