Superstar Rajinikanth fans are not happy with his decision on next film

Tamil superstar Rajinikanth will make a special appearance in a forthcoming film entitled Laal Salaam. This project, will be directed by none other than his daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth. The film is going to be produced by Subaskaran under Lyca Productions. The film also said to be starring two young Tamil stars Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth in the lead roles. The film’s music will be scored by AR Rahman.

However, Superstar Rajinikanth Fans are not happy with this news as they are feeling that playing cameo roles will bring down the stardom of their favorite hero. There is a valid point in the fear of fans, there should be care taken of the cameos of Star Heros, if not it will look like a forced one and it will generate negative feedback.

In the past, Tamil Star Hero Suriya had faced the same problem with playing cameo roles and doing every possible commercial ad which caused a dent to his Star image. But Rajinikanth doing a special role in her daughter’s direction will be seen as a family thing and the audience will understand that being a father he is helping to create hype for the film. So, according to some section of the audience, it isn’t risky for Rajnikanth to play a cameo role in Aishwarya Rajinikanth’s film.

Rajinikanth’s last film was Annatthe, directed by Sirutai Siva which failed to impress the audience. He is currently shooting for Jailer, directed by Nelson. Director Nelson also faced failure with his previous film Beast, in which Thalapathy Vijay acted as the main lead.

Aishwarya, the elder daughter of the Tamil superstar, is well known for her 2012 film, 3, starring Dhanush, and Vai Raja Vai. Besides directing a documentary titled Cinema Veeran that highlighted stunt choreographers, Aishwarya also penned a book titled Standing on An Apple Box: The Story of A Girl Among the Stars. Earlier this year, she also announced Oh Saathi Chal, her Bollywood directorial debut.

Vishnu Vishal is going to be seen in Gatta Kusthi, directed by director Chella Ayyavu, while Vikranth was seen in films like Bakrid and Vennila Kabaddi Kuzhu 2.
