Shraddha Kapoor’s Stree 2 is a box-office phenomenon, to say the least. Following an excellent first weekend, the horror comedy performed exceedingly well on weekdays before minting a double-digit gross on the 13th day.
Till date, the Rajkumar Rao-starrer has collected a nett of INR 442 crore in India, surpassing the legendary KGF: Chapter 2 that stands at an impressive INR 435 crore nett. From here on, it’s a cake walk for the film to get past the INR 500 crore India nett.
However, the million-dollar question of whether Stree 2 can surpass the industry hit Jawan’s INR 593 crore remains to be seen. Akshay Kumar and Varun Dhawan have appeared in cameo roles. It is directed by Amar Kaushik, who also worked on the first installment.
