Officially titled ‘Stree 2: Sarkate Ka Aatank’, this is a Hindi-language horror comedy film starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao in lead roles. A direct sequel to Stree (2018), it is directed by Amar Kaushik. It is scheduled for a grand release tomorrow.
The film has been in the news lately for its huge advance bookings prior to its release. A day before Stree-2 hits the big screens, paid premieres were held on selected screens across India. And unsurprisingly, the reviews from there have come out to be super positive.
With that being said, a thunderous weekend is on the cards for Hindi cinema. Trade experts even predict Stree-2 to become the biggest Bollywood opener of the year and even the highest-grossing Hindi film of the year. Maddock Films and Jio Studios have co-produced this film on a modest budget.
