Akhil took a huge break after Agent failed to select his next project. He was supposed to do another big-budget film after Agent with a new director under UV Productions. However, the decision was changed and he is now finally coming up with an entertainer.
Akhil’s next film has been confirmed with director Murali Kishore who earlier directed Kiran Abbavaram starter Vinaro Bhayam Vishnu Katha. The pooja ceremony happened on Sunday. Nagarjuna and Sithara Entertainments are jointly producing the film.
Sreeleela is playing the lead role opposite Akhil, while SS Thaman has been roped in to compose music. Filming is slated to start by the end of the month. Fans are hopeful this new project will be the turning point for Akhil, helping him regain his footing in the industry.
After the failure of Agent, it has taken almost 2 years for Akhil to come up with a new project. Success and failures are common but Akhil is going on a pretty unusual route and a stage where he should be looking for a comeback, he is delaying his projects and putting big pressure on himself.
