Story:
Shyam Kumar (Rag Mayur) dreams of settling in the US, but he must work hard to achieve it. He gets appointed as a Panchayat secretary in the quaint village of Sivarapalli in Telangana. As soon as he shows up, everything goes haywire. From the messy office he’s meant to work into the laid-back Sarpanch (Muralidhar Goud) he has to handle, everything’s just disorganized and relaxed. The rest of the tale follows Shyam as he deals with small-town problems and wins over the villagers’ hearts.
Performances:
As Panchayat Secretary Shyam, Rag Mayur did an awesome job showing the character’s frustration and struggles. His easygoing take on the character is refreshing and makes for a genuine performance. Muralidhar Goud, known for DJ Tillu and Balagam, really shines here. He adds a whole lot of fun to everything, and his vibe just makes the screen shine. Uday Gurrala nails his role as the aide. Suny Palle and Roopa Lakshmi bring their characters to life.
Analysis:
Sivarapalli is the Telugu version of the most loved Hindi Web Series, Panchayat. Bhaskar, the director, showcases his talent through impressive casting decisions. Each character receives thoughtful consideration, which greatly enriches the narrative. The humor comes across as natural and blends effortlessly with the plot. The routine lives of people in Telangana, their chill attitude, and the idiosyncrasies of each character maintain your engagement until the very end. This series features eight episodes, and each episode centers on the main character’s problem as he adapts to living in a small village. Although it has its slow patches and takes a while to find its rhythm, the series still provides an engaging experience.

Sivarapalli Web Series is neat and entertaining. Despite the series having its flaws, Rag Mayur, and Muralidhar Goud’s natural performances, and well-worked fun parts make it a good one-time watch.
