Simbu’s next film, Arasan, is his biggest project, as it falls under the Vada Channel franchise and is directed by Vetrimaaran. The film got into an unexpected legal issue, but now the latest news is that it is on track to shoot.
The film received a huge craze with the announcement itself, but as said above, an unexpected roadblock happened for the movie shooting due to a prior commitment of Simbu.
Reportedly, the actor had signed a film under the Vels production house and taken the advance, but the film did not happen. With this, the production house approached the council, which halted the shooting.
Both sides have been in talks to settle the matter quickly. After discussions, Ishari Ganesh from Vels agreed to let the film continue as long as STR would either fulfill his earlier commitment to the banner or return the advance amount with interest before starting the Ashwath Marimuthu project. With this understanding, Simbu’s Arasan will officially go on floors from December 8.
The film’s music is composed by Anirudh, produced by V Creations, and Vijay Sethupathi plays a crucial role. With all these, the film already created a big anticipation, and the announcement promo received a very big response.
