Shows Reduced for The Raja Saab and Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi

On the other hand, The Raja Saab and Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi are not performing well even during the festive period, leading to their shows getting continuously reduced.

With five films releasing at the same time, the Sankranthi 2026 box office was expected to face screen and show count issues. As anticipated, Prabhas’ The Raja Saab and Ravi Teja’s Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi are seeing a reduction in shows across the Telugu states.

Among the Sankranthi releases, Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu has clearly emerged as the audience’s first choice, followed by Anaganaga Oka Raju in second place and Nari Nari Naduma Murari in third. Because of this strong audience preference, these three films are witnessing higher demand and are even getting additional shows.

On the other hand, The Raja Saab and Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi are not performing well even during the festive period, leading to their shows getting continuously reduced.

According to data tracked from ticket booking platforms, the Telugu states shows count for January 16 as follows:

  • Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu: 2,298 shows
  • The Raja Saab: 926 shows
  • Anaganaga Oka Raju: 1,153 shows
  • Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi: 530 shows
  • Nari Nari Naduma Murari: 594 shows

For comparison, the show count on January 15 was:

  • Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu: 2,176 shows
  • The Raja Saab: 1,021 shows
  • Anaganaga Oka Raju: 1,034 shows
  • Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi: 571 shows
  • Nari Nari Naduma Murari: 534 shows

From January 15 to 16, The Raja Saab lost close to 100 shows, while Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi saw a reduction of over 40 shows. These shows have largely been reassigned to the other three films, which are enjoying better audience demand.
