Senior actor Sarath Babu passed away in a private hospital in Hyderabad at 71. Sarath Babu had been on treatment for a few days in AIG hospitals. According to the reports, Sarath Babu died because of sepsis all over his body and multiple organ failure. The film industry and politicians are expressing their condolences on social media. Family members are making arrangements to move Sarath Babu’s body to Chennai.

However, the news was condemned confirmed, and official confirmation came that he was still alive and was undergoing treatment. Sarath Babu is an Indian actor who has worked mainly in Tamil and Telugu cinema. He has appeared in over 200 films, including Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and a few Malayalam and Hindi films. Sarath Babu’s real name was Satyam Babu Dixithulu. He made his acting debut in the Telugu movie Rama Rajyam in 1973. After that, he entered into Tamil cinema four years later and acted in the legendary director K. Balachander’s films such as Pattina Pravesam, Nizhal Nijamagiradhu (1978). He has received eight state Nandi Awards. He was born on July 31, 1951, in Amudala village of Srikakulam district.
The actor’s last Telugu film was Vakeel Saab in 2021, which starred Pawan Kalyan as the lead. The film was directed by Venu Sriram.
