Shaakuntalam team cancelled the premiers plans

It is very well known to everyone that Samantha’s high-budget film Shaakuntalam is slated to release on April 14th. Heroine Samantha, director Guna Sekhar and the film’s unit are trying their best to get the best possible craze around their film, but their promotional content was not up to the mark. That’s why the unit had thought arranging special premiers for the film will work towards generating the hype.

So as per the plan, Shaakuntalam team had planned the special premiers for industry and media circles on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday night to get the craze for the film. However, the response from the audience on Monday premieres was shocking, and the reports were below par.

So, the team now does not want to take any risk and cancelled all the early premiere plans and which were planned today and tomorrow and Shaakuntalam will now directly release on Friday.

Made on a massive budget, Shaakuntalam is based on the internationally acclaimed Kalidasa’s Sanskrit play ‘Abhijnana Shaakuntalam’ and is all set to be released in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada languages. The film, which will also release in 3D, is being presented by Dil Raju under Sri Venkateswara Creations together with Gunaa Team works and produced by Neelima Guna.

Gunasekhar directed Samantha’s Shaakuntalam. Dev Mohan played King Dushyant’s role in this flick, while Allu Arjun’s daughter Allu Arha appeared as Prince Bharata. Aditi Balan, Prakash Raj, Gauthami, Madhoo, Sachin Khedekar, and Ananya Nagalla will be seen in crucial roles. Mani Sharma composed the tunes for this film.
