Sankranthi movies are not compromising their release dates. The discussion in the distributors and industry circles has been spread with rumors that a few films from the Sankranthi 2024 competition will be postponed or a few will change the release dates. But all the news in circles goes wrong, and Sankranthi movies have no compromises on release dates.
Reportedly, all the Producers are not ready to compromise on their release date even though there was pressure from distribution circles—Sankranthi movies — No compromises on release dates.
It is widely known that the upcoming Sankranthi season will witness many films clashing at the box office. Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Kaaram, Venkatesh’s Saindhav, and Teja Sajja’s Hanuman are the prominent films in the clash, while Raviteja’s Eagle and Nagarjuna’s Naa Saami Ranga are also in the race.
The five films will be released according to the announced dates. No producer is in the mood to change their plans. Everyone believes that their film can attract audiences in the festival season. All the movie teams have started promotions and started to release the promotional content.
Mahesh’s Guntur Kaaram and Prashanth Varma’s Hanuman will be released on 12 January, while the other two films, Saindhav and Eagle, will be out on 13 January. Nagarjuna’s Naa Saami Ranga is looking for two options, one is 11th January, and another one is 14th January. There is a 90% chance that the film will come on 14th January only because 11th January is a pre-festival mood.
With so many releases from Telugu, Tamil films like Dhanush’s Captain Miller, Ayalaan, and Lal Salaam may find it hard to get even the minimum number of screens. They might get a proper release if they come on the 10th or 11th of January.
