The Telangana government gave the expected hike and allowed midnight and special shows as well. But Prabhas fans are unhappy with the Andhra Pradesh government regarding Salaar ticket prices.
The Telangana government permitted team Salaar to organize seven shows on day one in Nizam on selected screens. They have also allowed six shows in the state on the first day, including an RS 65 hike for single screens and a Rs 100 hike in multiplexes for one week. The makers and fans are pleased with this.
In Andhra Pradesh, there has been no special permission granted by the government to organize special shows, and as far as the ticket hike is concerned, only a slight hike of Rs 40 was permitted. For RRR, the Andhra Pradesh government has given a Rs 75 hike, and for films like Sarkaru Vaari Paata (Rs.45), Acharya, and recently Adipurush, a Rs 50 hike was permitted.

Due to the application of ticket hikes by the makers in both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, online bookings for Salaar were delayed. The Telangana government approved a hike of Rs. 65 for the single screens and Rs. 100 for multiplexes. The hikes are valid for a week, from December 22nd to December 28th.
In Nizam, six shows can be screened on day one, and a selected set of twenty theaters in the state can screen Salaar at 1:00 AM. On the other hand, the Andhra government approved a hike of Rs. 40 for the first ten days from the release date.
