Salaar Hindi box office numbers include Midnight Corporate Shows. It is widely known that the Pan Indian action drama of Prabhas and Prashanth Neel, Salaar, has been able to collect some big records at the box office despite falling short of expectations. While the film is nearing the 600Cr mark Gross worldwide, there is a big controversy in the collections of its Hindi version.
A few days back, it was reported that on National Plexes a considerable number of midnight shows were opened for Salaar on working days and the shows were not available for audiences, and they were just opened and shown as sold out.
So, everyone reported this process as corporate bookings to increase Salaar’s Hindi numbers, but the team denied it including. Director Prashant Neel who said that they did not do this and indirectly blamed the opposition film’s PR.
Corporate Bookings have been a mess for Salaar
But now it was clear from the Bollywood trade circles that all the numbers from those midnight shows are reported in the movie’s collections. So it directly means that the team of Salaar has intentionally done this. Salaar Hindi box office numbers include Midnight Corporate Shows.
Because no one will spend the money to raise the collections for the opposition film.
The Bollywood trade says that the corporate bookings are common in the Hindi industry, but normally the bookings will be 10 – 20% of a film’s final collections, but Salaar has gone beyond the limits of that.
The film’s Hindi version Net is currently in the range of 140Cr, which includes many corporate shows numbers. This means literally the Salaar’s team has cut the tickets from their own pockets. This is an unnecessary practice by the makers of Salaar.
