Salaar falls far short of RRR and Baahubali 2. It is widely known that the pan-Indian action drama of Prabhas and Prashanth Neel was released on December 22nd amidst massive expectations among fans and trade circles as well. Though the film has created many records at the box office, Salaar falls far short of RRR and Baahubali 2.
After the first weekend, Salaar has collected around 310Cr Gross worldwide, whereas Baahubali 2 had collected more than 500Cr Gross and RRR also came closer to the 500Cr Gross worldwide. Salaar falls far short of RRR and Baahubali 2.

As said above, Salaar movie’s Gross stands at 310Cr, far behind from the movies like RRR and Baahubali 2. The trade circles expected the film to be on par with the other Pan Indian films directed by SS Rajamouli, but it failed to live up to the hype. Salaar falls far short of RRR and Baahubali 2.
Even if we take the weekend numbers of other big films this year, Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan and Pathaan have collected much more than Salaar for Indian Cinema. In Telugu, it did good but coming to the other languages are poor.
Salaar Cast and Crew
The film stars Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead roles and is directed by KGF director Prashanth Neel. Earlier, it was reported that Salaar will be made in two parts. The first is titled ‘Salar- Ceasefire,’ and the second is ‘Salaar – Shauryanga Parvam.’
Prabhas played the character of Deva/ Salaar, while Prithviraj Sukumaran was seen as Varada Raja Mannar, Jagapathi Babu as Rajamannar and Shruti Haasan as Aadhya. Salaar Part One was released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and many other languages.
