Salaar : Cease Fire part 1 is Ugramm’s story with KGF’s style

With less than 24 hours to go for its release, the excitement for Prabhas’ Salaar is at an all-time high. Fans are eager to catch Prabhas in an out and out mass action entertainer after a long time and with Prashanth Neel handling the film, fans expect nothing less than fireworks.

Neel, who started his career with Ugram went on to become one of the most popular filmmakers pan-India with the KGF franchise. And now, the ace director himself has made an interesting revelation about the film. He has confirmed that Salaar story is the same as Ugramm and it is made with KGF style. So essentially, Salaar is a combination of his two most successful films. This is something that has been speculated for months and music director Ravi Basrur had also confirmed it some time back.

Neel has also confirmed that there will be no correlation whatsoever between the worlds of Salaar and KGF. The director revealed that Salaar is a story amidst contemporary setup while KGF was set in the 80s. There is no similarity between the two except the style of making.

Hombale Films are producing this much-awaited pan-India project. Salaar also stars Shruti Haasan opposite Prabhas in this project which also features Prithviraj, Jagapathi Babu, and others. Ravi Basrur is composing the music marking his fourth collaboration with Prashanth Neel after Ugramm, KGF:1, and KGF:2.
