Ever since the massive success of Krack, Ravi Teja’s market value has risen to great heights. His latest action-thriller Khiladi has done an extraordinary pre-release business of over 20+ crores in the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana regions. Just when things were going smoothly for the film, the makers have been hit with a roadblock.
The film planned for a February 11th release under the assumption that the AP Government will lift the night curfew and allow for 100% occupancy restrictions. But the AP government has given a huge shock to the makers and distributors by announcing that the restrictions will continue till 14th February.
Now the distributors are requesting negotiations and are not ready to pay the originally planned amount. However, the producers of the film do not want to reduce the business of the film. They have informed the distributors that they will not take any negotiations and are ready to postpone the film. They have told the distributors that they are ready to postpone to a later date.
Khiladi is an action thriller that also stars Dimple Hayathi, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Arjun Sarja, and Unni Mukundan among others. Ramesh Varma is the director of the film. Koneru Sathyanarayana Rao and Ramesh Varma have co-produced the project. Devi Sri Prasad is the music director.
