Tollywood Director, Ram Gopal Varma got stuck in a controversy recently. The Director was booked by Police for allegedly morphing the images of Politicians and current CM of Andhra Pradesh, Chandrababu Naidu and his son Lokesh few years ago. There were also attempts made by the Police to arrest the Director but it failed with him approaching the court. The Court now has granted bail for Ram Gopal Varma and with this he has won over the AP Government which desperately wanted him to see behind the bars.
The Director dealt the cases booked against him with proper legal method and secured the bail. AP Government led by Chandrababu Naidu has gone after personalities booking cases and also sending them to jail after coming into power. The Government has also thought of sending Ram Gopal Varma to the jail by all means but it didn’t happen.
The Director went against Chandrababu Naidu and made political satire films as well during his previous tenure as Chief Minister. He continued it later with films Vyooham and Shapadham which were also aimed at the Politican.
Now, with Chandrababu Naidu becoming the Chief Minister, he took no time in using the Police against the Director. But Ram Gopal Varma is well equipped in this segment and made sure again that no one could beat him in legal affairs. This is really a huge win for Ram Gopal Varma over the Government. We need to also see how he would react to the judgement of the court.
