Why Are Ram Charan Fans Losing Patience With Sukumar’s Delays

After RRR, Ram Charan has not been able to repeat that kind of pan-India success. Game Changer failed everywhere, and Peddi, despite ruling the Telugu market, did not attract pan-India audiences the way it was expected to. With this run of setbacks, fans have been pinning their hopes on Sukumar, the director who built a massive brand with Pushpa, to give Ram Charan the kind of film that can turn things around. The duo previously delivered a sensational blockbuster with Rangasthalam, which is exactly why expectations are so high this time.

RC17 Hasn’t Even Gone On Floors Yet

The issue is timing. This film is taking a very long time to even start its shoot. The project is still in pre production, and the news is that the shoot is likely to begin only in December this year, or possibly even next year.

Sukumar is known to take close to two years to complete a film once it goes on floors, factoring in the shoot and all the post production work involved. This raises a real possibility that Ram Charan may not have a theatrical release in 2027, and the film could stretch into 2028. For fans hoping for a big comeback sooner rather than later, this timeline is hurting in a big way.
