In a recent interview, the producer of Prabhas’s film officially confirmed that there is a demand from distributors to release Raja Saab on Sankranthi. Now, that boils down to The Raja Saab vs. Jana Nayagan battle, which is now on for 2026 Sankranthi/Pongal.

As per the Telugu distributors, the producer of Prabhas’s film has locked 9th January as the release date, and business is already happening considering the same date.
Then it will be a straight clash with Vijay’s film for the Baahubali actor. Vijay’s Jana Nayagan is releasing in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi. Even the same can be said for Raja Saab, as it is releasing in all languages.
So, there will definitely be a race for getting a big screen count in all areas, and we should wait and see to know who will emerge as the winner.
