The ‘Muni’ franchise has a special place in horror comedy genre films. It is widely known that these films were directed by actor choreographer Raghava Lawrence. Four films in the series so far like Muni, Muni 2 (Kanchana) ‘Kanchana 2’ and ‘Kanchana 3’ have been super successful. On the one hand, the audience is scared and on the other hand, they laugh while watching these films. That’s why fans are eagerly waiting to see when ‘Kanchana 4’ will be released. The same thing was recently mentioned to Lawrence in an interaction with media to which he gave a funny and surprising response.

Directed by Karthik Subbaraj, ‘Jigarthanda Double X’ stars Raghava Lawrence and SJ Suryah in the lead roles. The film will be released on the occasion of Diwali. As part of the promotions, the film’s team held a press conference in Hyderabad. On this occasion, a question was asked when will another film in the ‘Muni’ series be launched? When will ‘Kanchana 4’ be there? Lawrence replied that his mind has gone crazy with horror films.

“All the ghost films were made by me when my mind went mad. To write or make such stories, you have to have such a mad mind. Even if you sleep while making those films, the same thoughts come up. You can’t sleep peacefully. I stand in front of the mirror at home. ‘Hey… If you make a film called Kanchana, you will become like Kanchana at home too,” my mother says. My brother’s son also says that uncle has become different. I will be able to make you laugh only if I start from home. Someday I will make ‘Kanchana 4’. Even if I’m mad, I’ll make it mad,” Raghava Lawrence said funnily.

Recently Directed by P Vasu, ‘Chandramukhi 2’ starring Lawrence and Kangana Ranaut in the lead roles was released, and it became a flop. Raghava Lawrence responded to this. “Instead of thinking about hits and flops, we should do our job and move forward,” he said. “I got my money for ‘Chandramukhi 2’. I did it with four heroines. We don’t have to succeed in everything in life. Initially, I wanted to become a dance master from a group dancer. From there, I became a director. Now I am doing as a hero. It is god’s gift for me to act as a hero with this glamour. We should not think about flops. They will come after us,” he said.
