PVRINOX CEO about Dunki Vs Salaar Clash on Shows count
After some prolonged fight on social media, Kamal Gianchandani, PVRINOX CEO responds on Dunki vs Salaar clash on shows count. “Normally, we try to keep Producers related matters to ourself. But this is one of those times for us to share our point of view. We have come across some absurd internet posts regarding unfair showcasing practices at PVRINOX.”
Kamal Gianchandani dismissed the rumors, further adding, “No one has greater respect and appreciation for all the Producers releasing their films in our theaters than all of us at PVRINOX. Commercial disagreements is par for the course with big films releasing on the same date. Not the first time. Won’t be the last time.”
He concluded by requesting that fans and some overly enthusiastic media circles stop arguing their theories. He said, “Everything will fall in place soon. Please put these ridiculous theories to bed.” Well, the distributors and producers with exhibitors will reach to a conclusion soon. It seems like PVRINOX will work towards screen sharing that pleases all in coming days.
Salaar team counter to PVRINOX team
As said above, Salaar team was not happy with the National chains allocating more shows for Dunki and not giving even minimum screens to Salaar. So to counter the problem, the team came up with a risky decision that they would not release the film in National Plexes in South India.
It looks like the gutsy decision has worked in favor of them and the settlement regarding the screen sharing between Dunki and Salaar will be happening is very soon in favor of Salaar.
