Pushpa 2 is trailing behind Devara and Salaar in the Telugu States. If we consider overall numbers, then Pushpa 2 has a lead over NTR’s Devara and Prabhas’s Salaar. But Pushpa 2 has many additional factors like huge hires, additional ticket hikes, and premiers. Even with this, the margin between Pushpa 2, Devara, and Salaar is not big.
In many centers, Devara and Salaar have better numbers than Pushpa 2. This may be surprising that a most hyped sequel gets lower numbers than standalone films, but this can be attributed to the film’s underwhelming result of the film’s first part. Normally a film like Pushap 2 should compete with RRR as the business was almost done in RRR closing prices but the film is not trending in that way whether in opening or weekend bookings. The film must take a bigger jump in Telugu states from today’s evening shows to recover its business.
