Pushpa 2 Tamil Nadu’s box office performance is no match for Baahubali 2 and KGF 2. The latest pan-Indian blockbuster Pushpa 2 has collected 66.5 Cr gross in 12 days in Tamil Nadu and is set for an 80 Cr finish which is a good number but compared to the other hyped sequels Baahubali 2 and KGF 2 it fell short.
Baahubali 2 emerged as the all-time biggest grosser in Tamil Nadu with 150 Cr gross, while KGF 2, even with a film like Beast in competition along with less screen count collected more than 110 Cr gross. Pushpa 2 achieved a non-RRR record as it is the only movie to collect 50 Cr Gross apart from Rajamouli’s movies.
Pushpa 2’s pre-release business is valued at KGF 2 collection, but it is likely to end up around 75% of KGF 2’s full run collection. Then it will end as an average venture in Tamil Nadu. Pushpa 2 Tamil Nadu’s box office performance is no match for Baahubali 2 and KGF 2.
