Pushpa 2 Stampede Tragedy: Victim Still in Critical Condition After One Year

Sritej, the child, the victim of the Pushpa 2 stampede incident, is reportedly suffering from kidney failure and breathing difficulties, unable to eat or even breathe properly. His family, already struggling with poverty, is unable to afford the money required for treatment, which is only available at private hospitals.

On December 4 last year, during a stampede at the Pushpa 2 premiere show, a woman named Sandhya died, and her son, Sritej, was injured. Even after a full year, his condition remains heartbreaking. His father states that he is unable to eat on his own, is bedridden with no movement, and cannot recognize anyone.

Bhaskar, Sritej’s father, said they spend approximately ₹1.50 lakh monthly on his treatment. He also mentioned that their request for assistance to Allu Arjun’s manager was unsuccessful.

Despite reaching out to government authorities and explaining their dire situation, the family claims they have received no support. The father expressed deep frustration, stating that although officials acknowledged responsibility, no action was taken to help his son.

We Will Follow Industry Heads’ Guidelines, Says Bunny Vas, Reacting to Pushpa 2 Stampede Victim Sritej’s Condition

Producer Bunny Vas, who is a close aide of Allu Arjun, responded to this issue. “We have clear guidelines from industry leaders like Dil Raju garu on how to allocate the funds given to the victim’s family, specifying the portions for treatment and family expenses. We are adhering to these guidelines. If the family feels the allocation is insufficient, they can directly contact the industry heads, and we will abide by their decision.”

The child’s condition remains critical, and the family continues to plead for assistance, hoping someone will intervene before it’s too late.
