Pushpa 2: The Rule starring Allu Arjun is one of the most awaited films of Tollywood. The film is currently under shoot and release date was also announced officially as December 6th worldwide. Recently Game Changer’s release date has been announced as December 20th but it now stands postponed as per sources. So, Christmas will be the perfect release date for Pushpa 2.
December 6th is not a holiday weekend and there will be holidays only during Christmas. Pushpa also released during the same holiday season and became a Pan Indian blockbuster. So, the team is hoping on repeating the same resutl again this time. But the film is poised to have a threat in the form of Chhava starring Vicky Kaushal. The film may dampen the box office prospects of Pushpa 2 in Maharashtra greatly.
But Pushpa 2 will enjoy a great run in Telugu states with Game Changer’s postponement. The film will also have a long run till New Year and next year’s Sankranthi season if it gets a positive talk and word of mouth. The film is also aiming to gross more than 1000 crores worldwide.
