Kannada superstar Late Puneeth Rajkumar’s Gandhada Gudi is now available for fans to stream online. The docudrama directed by Amoghavarsha stars himself along with Puneeth Rajkumar. The film chronicles the duo’s journey as the Kannada star reminisces through his journey of life and evolution from a child star to the heartthrob of millions worldwide.

The filming of this documentary began exactly a year before Appu’s untimely death at the age of 46. Gandhada Gudi was earlier available on Amazon Prime Video but was later taken off the streaming giant’s platform. Now it is streaming on YouTube, Google TV , ITunes/ Apple TV for rent at 100 rupees. Amazon stated that the title license had expired, so they had to take the film off their platform.

The 98-minute documentary is a tribute to Karnataka’s bio-diversity and ecosystem in its full glory. As Amoghavarsha and Puneeth visit forests, lakes, oceans, and other places in Karnataka, we are introduced to the unseen part of the state.
