Prime Minister Narendra Modi, today in his popular Mann ki Baat programme, hailed Tollywood Matinee Idol, ANR for his contributions to the Film Industry. He opined that ANR and his films reflected Indian traditions and values greatly. This came as a surprise and a great tribute to the Late Actor.
Modi also said that ANR took Telugu Cinema to great heights with his films and acting. He also referred it to as an identity of Timeless Act. This year also marks the birth centenary of the Late Actor who passed away a decade ago from Cancer. Since then, the Actor and his contributions to both Telugu and Indian Cinema have been remembered and greatly praised by many celebrities.
ANR’s son and Tollywood Actor, Nagarjuna too thanked Narendra Modi for his warm words. He said that it means the world for him and his family for recognising the Actor’s contribution also marking the year on his birth centenary.
