Powerstar Pawan Kalyan was at his ferocious best at the Republic pre-release event. He lashed out at the AP government for its activities such as ticket fares and screening of shows hurting the Telugu film industry.
Describing how the movie ‘Republic’ raises important subjects like the fundamental rights of citizens, Pawan Kalyan took a dig at the YSRCP government and said that the party is working only for itself and not for the people.
“When the investment is being poured by private players to produce a movie, how can the government dictate terms? It’s the Indian Republic, people will revolt if it’s “YSRCP republic,” warned Kalyan.
He further urged Mohan Babu to hold talks with the AP state government over the prevailing problems in the film industry. “The State government is trying to make money from selling tickets. It would seek loans from banks by showing the revenue that is obtained from selling tickets,” he alleged.
