Parasakthi Telugu Release Postponed

Originally scheduled for 14 January 2026, Sivakarthikeyan’s much-awaited film Parasakthi will now release on 10 January 2026 in Tamil. The makers decided to prepone the release to avoid direct clashes with other big Pongal films. However, the Telugu version will not release on the same date, as Sankranthi is already packed with multiple Telugu films.

Given the crowded festival window, the Parasakthi team has postponed the Telugu release to the Republic Day weekend, a strategic move to ensure better theatre availability and audience reach. The makers are confident about the film’s performance, especially since Sivakarthikeyan is a familiar face in Telugu states.

This decision is seen as practical because even with positive word of mouth, a Tamil dubbed film would struggle to find space among so many Telugu straight releases during Sankranthi.
