Allu Arjun’s bail petition postponed

Tollywood Actor Allu Arjun who was recently booked by the Police for a stampede accident during the premiere show of Pushpa 2 applied for a bail before the Nampally Court in Hyderabad. The case has been adjourned for hearing on next Monday with Police asking more time for filing a counter affidavit.

The case came before the Nampally Court today with the lapse of the judicial remand accorded by the Court for the Actor. It is also learnt that Allu Arjun appeared before the Court through a video call. The Court earlier remanded the Actor for 14 days after which the Actor applied for a bail before the High Court which was granted and saw him coming out of the jail.

On the other hand, his Pushpa 2 is rocking the box office grossing more than 1500 crores worldwide till now officially. This will definitely be a breather for the Actor who is reeling under the pressure of the stampede case dealt by the Police.

Krrish 4 to go on Sets in 2025. According to the Bollywood sources, Hrithik will soon start the fourth installment of his most loved franchise. Reportedly, after wrapping up War 2 Shooting in April, Hrithik Roshan will roll his much-awaited superhero film Krrish 4 in summer with director Karan Malhotra. Krrish 4 to go on Sets in 2025.

War 2‘s April schedule is reportedly dedicated to the fights and stunts, after which the spy thriller’s shoot will be completed. The inside reports suggest that Ayan Mukerji is reportedly leaving no stone unturned to ensure the sequel surpasses the high-octane action of the 2019 hit.

Thereafter, in Summer 2025, Krrish 4 will kick start the initial schedules in Mumbai and parts of Europe. The film marks a continuation of the beloved franchise that began with Koi Mil Gaya and expanded through Krrish and Krrish 3. Director Karan Malhotra already worked with Hrithik Roshan for Agneepath (2012) which was a solid hit at the box office.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is now streaming Online. The latest horror comedy from the popular franchise has made its digital premiere after eight weeks of its theatrical release. The streaming giant Netflix bagged the digital rights of the film for a good price.

Actor Kartik Aaryan scored his career biggest blockbuster with this film. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 was released in theaters worldwide on November 1, 2024. It clashed at the box office with Ajay Devgn – Rohith Shetty’s Singham Again. Surprisingly, despite being considered as the second fiddle, BB3 emerged as the winner at the box office this Diwali. Viewers can stream Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 Online now on Netflix.

Kartik Aaryan appeared as Rooh Baba, the character which he played in the Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 as well. Vidya Balan reprised her iconic role as Manjulika, much to the happiness of fans. Madhuri Dixit Nene and Triptii Dimri appeared in the other crucial roles in the film. Bollywood audiences loved the dance of Vidya Balan and Madhuri Dixit in the iconic “Mere Dholna” song, which continues the tradition from the previous Bhool Bhulaiyaa films.

Pushpa 2 joins 1500 crore grossers list

Pushpa 2 has joined the 1500 crore grossers club officially today. The film also becomes the 2nd Telugu film and South Indian film to make 1500 crores after Baahubali 2. Allu Arjun has also become the solo Actor from the South Indian Film Industry with Non-Rajamouli factor to have pulled off this record. This is indeed a great achievement for the film and the Actor jointly.

Recent Pan India Blockbusters, RRR and KGF Chapter 2 failed to join this club shockingly. Pushpa 2 also becomes the third Indian film to collect 1500 crores gross after Dangal and Baahubali 2 globally. It is also expected to draw another 100 crores by its full run. There are also chances of earning 150 crores if Hindi belt promises a strong run till the full run.

If all goes well, Pushpa 2 will go close to the numbers of Baahubali 2 worldwide in its full run. This all depends on the audiences’ turnout for the holiday seasons for the next 1 month. So, let’s see if Pushpa 2 could surpass Baahubali 2.

RRR sequel on cards?

Tollywood Blockbuster RRR became a global phenomenon also winning an Oscar Award for its Naatu Naatu song. There has been a constant buzz for the possibility of a sequel on social media. Many questions were also posed to Director Rajamouli and his father Vijayendra Prasad on the same as well. There are also rumours that the team made discussions on the sequel as well.

RRR’s documentary, RRR: Behind and Beyond is now streaming on Netflix. The documentary showcased the hardwork and dedication the entire team put into the film. In the docu, Vijayendra Prasad has interestingly quoted about leaving a lead for the sequel of RRR giving rise to sequel speculations again.

One of the lead Actors of the film, NTR also expressed that the sequel may happen sometime. The sequel will draw great attention if planned undoubtedly. Currently, Rajamouli is busy scouting for the locations of his upcoming film starring Mahesh Babu. This film is expected to go on floors next year in the month of January.

Story:

Known as Max (Kichcha Sudeep), Arjun Mahakshay is a fearless Circle Inspector with an exceptional track record. He arrests the sons of ministers before he takes charge after his suspension in a newly recruited area. However, thereafter, an unexpected incident occurs in the station and chaos breaks out, as the minister’s men and a group of gangsters and criminals rush into the police station, demanding the ministers’ children set free. Max creates a daring plan to change the situation while stuck with a hesitant group of officers. What is his plan? Did Max regain control? These questions form the core of this high-action thriller.

Performances:

Kichcha Sudeep, who makes his much-awaited return on the big screens after more than two years, gives a perfect impact as the lead. He carries the entire film on his shoulders with a balanced performance. Varalaxmi Sarathkumar portrays a corrupt police officer, and she is apt for her role, while Sunil as Gani Bhai is also suited to the character. Ilavarasu, Ugram Manju, Redin Kingsley and others were okay.

Analysis:

Directed by Vijay Kartikeyaa, Max Movie’s main plot resembles a Tamil blockbuster from 2019. However, the resemblance stops there, as the screenplay is presented in a more conventional way in this film. The first half makes one glued on to the screen, as it gets to the point straight away. The intrigue continues to grow with each character’s entrance and a new challenge for the protagonist. The second half also maintains the pace though there is a drop in the proceedings here and there. The climax is alright, and it has a slight emotional touch that adds a small depth to the movie.

Max Movie is a decent action thriller. Kiccha Sudeep’s Perfect Portrayal of a Police Officer, suitable action sequences along with a well-done narration work for the film, while the regular setup, few boring moments and convenient taking work against it. The film can be enjoyed by action movie lovers.

Balakrishna as IAS officer in Daaku Maharaaj?

Tollywood Actor Balakrishna is reported to be playing the role of an IAS officer in his upcoming film, Daaku Maharaaj. Two looks of Balakrishna have been relevealed until now where one portrayed him in the Daaku role and the other one being that of a normal role. But it is learnt that there will be another 3rd role as a surprise which is touted be the IAS one.

Director Bobby too has confirmed this role revealing it came out very well. The Action episodes of the film are also said to have come out very well appearing as powerful. The Director has also stated that the film will be full on mass sequences. Producer of the film, Naga Vamsi too expressed the same quoting that the film will become bigger hit than the Director’s previous blockbuster Waltair Veerayya.

Daaku Maharaaj is scheduled for release on 12th January next year worldwide as a Sankranthi bonanza. Balakrishna looks to continue his hit streak with the film undoubtedly.

Pushpa 2 trails behind Kalki 2898 AD in Nizam. Prabhas and Nag Ashwin’s Kalki 2898 AD ran on a sensational note in Nizam and collected 153 Cr gross in the full run. The film had a strong run at the theaters for many weeks. Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 was expected to beat this in Nizam easily before release as it had higher sequel hype, ticket prices, premier shows along record prices but now it seems that Kalki 2898 AD will be the winner.

Kalki 2898 AD ended up with 153 Cr gross in Nizam, whereas Pushpa 2 collected close to 140 Cr gross for 3 weeks, and it is very tough to go beyond 150 Cr for Pushpa 2: The Rule. Pushpa 2 trails behind Kalki 2898 AD in Nizam. However, share-wise Pushpa 2 may have some edge because the share terms have been said to be better for the film to compare with Kalki. Also, Pushpa 2 collected more than Kalki in the initial weeks where the movie had better share terms so share-wise it will have some lead.

But, if we compare gross-wise, Kalki 2898 AD will have the margin. Initially, Pusha 2 was expected to collect 100 Cr share in Nizam but the film failed to do so. We need to see which film will do 100 Cr share in Nizam and as of now only RRR crossed the landmark in the Nizam region.
