Karthi’s Satyam Sundaram Premieres – Blockbuster Reports!

Meiyazhagan, titled ‘Satyam Sundaram’ in its Telugu-dubbed version, is a comedy-drama film starring Karthi and Aravind Swamy in lead roles. Filmmaker Premkumar, the man behind the cult classic 96 (2018), has written and directed this flick.

Bankrolled by Suriya and Jyothika under ‘2D Entertainments’, it is scheduled for a grand release on 27th September, clashing with Jr. NTR’s Devara: Part One. Despite carrying modest expectations, the makers have opted to screen special premieres in Tamilnadu.

As the title reads, the response from these shows has come out to be highly positive, with the audience lavishing praise on the performances of the cast, music, story, and direction. Having said that, it must be seen how this heartwarming tale will fare at the ticket window.

Pushpa 2: Christmas is the perfect release date

Pushpa 2: The Rule starring Allu Arjun is one of the most awaited films of Tollywood. The film is currently under shoot and release date was also announced officially as December 6th worldwide. Recently Game Changer’s release date has been announced as December 20th but it now stands postponed as per sources. So, Christmas will be the perfect release date for Pushpa 2.

December 6th is not a holiday weekend and there will be holidays only during Christmas. Pushpa also released during the same holiday season and became a Pan Indian blockbuster. So, the team is hoping on repeating the same resutl again this time. But the film is poised to have a threat in the form of Chhava starring Vicky Kaushal. The film may dampen the box office prospects of Pushpa 2 in Maharashtra greatly.

But Pushpa 2 will enjoy a great run in Telugu states with Game Changer’s postponement. The film will also have a long run till New Year and next year’s Sankranthi season if it gets a positive talk and word of mouth. The film is also aiming to gross more than 1000 crores worldwide. The team of Pushpa 2 is also aiming for the same.

Devara Day 1: 75 crore advances

Devara is all gearing up for release on September 27th. The advance bookings of the film continue to have a super strong performance. The opening day Hyderabad City advance sales are in the range of 15 crores. The total Telugu States gross is more than 35 crores. Devara’s Day 1 total worldwide advance bookings is nearly 75 crores till now.

Overall Indian gross is close to 45 crores and Overseas Day 1 pre sales are also in the range of 30 crores. Most numbers are from the Telugu version and other language’s numbers opening depend on the word of mouth. If the film secures a positive word of mouth then superb walk-ins can be expected in a big way. The film is expected to collect in the range of 130 crores worldwide in all versions on Day 1.

The film will then stand as the one of biggest openers of Tollywood. NTR and Koratala Shiva are hoping big with the outcome of Devara. Director Koratala Shiva wants to bounce back hard from his previous disaster, Acharya. NTR on the other hand wants to establish himself as a Pan Indian star. He had already lined up War 2 and NTRNeel to serve this purpose. So let’s wait for one more day.

Devara starring NTR is one of the most awaited films of Tollywood. The film has already completed all the formalities and gearing up for release on 27th September worldwide. Devara, likewise has done a massive business in all the areas. The Advance bookings are on a phenomenal note. Worldwide pre release business is more than 200 crores. Telugu version business is alone valued at 160 crores. Area wise details are as follows:

The release trailer which released recently has also taken the hype and expectations to sky level. NTR and director Koratala Shiva are betting big on the film. NTR wants to establish himself as a Pan Indian star with Devara. So, let’s see if the film succeeds and gives him a major breakthrough.

Kali Trailer : An intriguing concept with elements that will keep you guessing

The trailer of Prince and Naresh Agasthya starrer Kali is out and it has got everyone’s attention. The trailer starts with Prince receiving an unknown guest at his door who later takes him on a roller coaster ride of emotions, suspense, and rage. Naresh Agasthya who achieved great acclaim for his role in Mathu Vadalara brings an element of great mystery to this trailer.

The trailer was launched by Prashanth Varma who expressed strong applause for this unique concept. “I am happy to release the trailer for ‘Kali.’ It looks thrilling and suggests that the film will be a gripping psychological thriller. The entire team has put in a lot of effort, and the VFX are of high quality. The lead actors, Prince, Naresh Agastya, and Neha Krishnan, have performed exceptionally well. I wish all the best to director Siva Sashu, producer Leela Gautam Varma, and the rest of the team. ‘Kali’ is hitting theaters on October 4, and I am also looking forward to watching it!”

Prince plays a simple young man with a troubled past owing to family problems. He’s taken on a wild ride by this mystery guest who manages to drive him to the absolute edge.

Kali Trailer will certainly grasp your attention with its production design, VFX, and fresh concept. Directed by Siva Sashu, this psychological thriller is produced by Leela Gowtham Varma. The film also stars Neha Krishnan, Gauthamraju, Gundu Sudarshan, Kedar Shankar, Mani Chandana, Madhumani, among others, and will be released on October 4th.

Game Changer Postponing?

Game Changer’s release date has been one of the most discussed topics in Tollywood for quite some time. There have been continuous rumours regarding the film’s postponement for a while now. Right now, there is buzz that the film might even go for Sankranti 2025 release if Vishwambhara gets postponed due to any reason.

If Vishwambhara gets postponed, then definitely it will be a big opportunity for Game Changer and it will be a 100% better date than the Christmas release. However, this might create some confusion for Dil Raju as he has Venkatesh’s movie lined up as well.

Dil Raju might not release Venkatesh’s film along with Game Changer. While Mythri Movie Makers released two of their big-ticket films -Waltair Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy for 2023 Sankranti, Dil Raju might not do so.

These reports of Game Changer postponement have become stronger with today’s 2nd single update from the film. There was no mention of a release date on this poster announcing the song’s promo release on 28th September.

US Premieres – Devara vs RRR

Jr. NTR’s Devara: Part One is the most hyped film in recent times. In spite of mixed response for trailer cut, the action drama is smashing records day after day even before its release. In the North America, the film has already got past the $2 Million mark with pre-sales alone.

With two more days to ago for the theatrical release, trade experts predict Devara to gross over $3 Million with premieres. However, the million-dollar question of whether the Kortala Siva-directorial will surpass the mighty RRR’s recrod of $3.4 Million remains unanswered.

Devara‘s current advance sales stand at an impressive $2.3 Million. Nag Aswhin’s sci-fi epic Kalki: 2898 AD will endure to be the No.1 film in premieres gross with 3.9M. Allu Arjun’s Pushpa: The Rule might have a chance to smash this record.

Fans Upset With Game Changer’s Cheap Quality Posters!

Game Changer is the first solo release of ‘Global Star’ Ram Charan after the internationally acclaimed action drama RRR (2022). To make it more special, it is helmed by the legendary writer-director Shankar Shanmugam.

As an icing on the cake, ‘Dil’ Raju is bankrolling the project on a mammoth budget. Considering such big names on board, fans expect the promotional content from the film, such as posters and songs, to be first rate.
