Hari Hara Veera Mallu Postponement Seems Certain

After repeated postponements, ‘Hari Hara Veera Mallu’ was formally confirmed for a March 28 release date, which the team has constantly reaffirmed. Two songs were published as part of the promotion, and the creators promised that the entire shoot will be completed by February. However, as February comes to an end, Pawan Kalyan has yet to return to the sets, and nearly a week of filming is still pending.

Within the industry, there has been continuing suspicion that the movie will miss its scheduled release date. The new developments simply add to these concerns, since filming delays may affect post-production timelines. Meanwhile, several films involving Pawan Kalyan’s close acquaintances are scheduled to release over the same time period. ‘Robinhood’, which opens on March 28, and ‘Mad Square’, which opens on March 29, are vigorously advertising their films in order to secure a favorable release window.

Adding to the competition, two high-profile dubbed films like Mohanlal’s ‘Empuraan’, a sequel to ‘Lucifer’, and Vikram’s ‘Veera Dheera Sooran’ are also set for release. Allu Arjun-Trivikram Film Postponed

Even after more than a year since ‘Guntur Karam’ hit theaters, Trivirkam yet to commence shooting on his next project. While his film with Allu Arjun was officially announced, the project has faced delays due to ‘Pushpa 2’’s extended production schedule.

Recently, reports suggest that Allu Arjun is keen on collaborating with director Atlee for his upcoming film. However, discussions are still underway, primarily regarding the film’s budget. Negotiations are currently in progress, and if all goes well, the project will be produced by two leading production houses.

Meanwhile, speculation continues regarding Trivikram and Allu Arjun’s film. Adding to the buzz, producer Naga Vamsi recently clarified during ‘Mad Square’’s teaser launch that an update on their collaboration will not be coming anytime soon. He confirmed that an official announcement will only be made in the second half of the year.

As of now, Allu Arjun has yet to finalize his next project. However, with strong chances of his next venture being with Atlee, fans eagerly await an official confirmation on what’s next for the stylish star.

Chhaava Day 15 Box Office: Smashes Pushpa 2’s Record

Vicky Kaushal’s Chahava’s 3rd weekend starts on a record note after a sensational run in 2 weeks. This historical action drama is showing a huge consistency at the ticket windows. Chhaava Smashes Pushpa 2’s record at the box office on Day 15.

Till now, only two films have collected more than 10 Cr net in Hindi in India on 3rd Friday. Those two films are sequels and Tollywood films: One is Baahubali 2, and the Second one is Pushpa 2. Baahubali collected 10.2Cr range and Pushpa 2 collected around 10.5 Cr. Now, the early estimates of Chhaava for the 3rd Friday are in the range of 12 Cr, which is an all-time record by a good margin. 

Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava Smashes Pushpa 2’s record at the box office on Day 15, and it becomes the first Bollywood film to collect a double-digit net on 3rd Friday.

The weekend advance bookings for the Laxman Utekar directorial are also very promising, and it is expected to continue to set a record for this Saturday and Sunday as well. The film is also joining the 400 Cr India net club tomorrow, and it is a sensational feat for the film. The next target will be 500 Cr and even more milestones if it maintains a long run at the box office.

Kollywood Director Atlee tasted big success in the form of Jawan starring Shah Rukh Khan that grossed more than 1000 crores worldwide. But, the Director has been struggling to lock his next project. There was earlier a plan of a collaboration with Allu Arjun which had been shelved for budget and remuneration issues. Then, it was rumoured that he planned a multi-starrer with Salman Khan and Kamal Haasan, which too was shelved.

Recently, there was buzz that Atlee came back to Allu Arjun again for a film which excited the fans and audience again. They also expected the film to begin very soon. But, it is now learnt that the film faces the same budget and remuneration issues. Atlee and Allu Arjun are believed to be quoting high remuneration for this due to their popularity with their previous blockbusters, Jawan and Pushpa 2.

Atlee is also planning to make only high-budget films, and the film needs a huge span and making. Allu Arjun is also riding too high with the popularity of his Pushpa 2, as said. But Atlee may not deliver the success like Pan India sensation Pushpa 2 with his style. Jawan hasn’t catapulted the range of Atlee by far. Best wishes and congratulations poured in for the actors from fans and industry friends. Actor Huma Qureshi commented, “Omg congratulations.” Neha Dhupia also commented congratulations on the post. Kayadu Lohar begins shooting with Vishwak Sen

ప్రస్తుతం మిడ్ వీక్ కావటంతో రెండు రోజుల్లో కలిపి మజాకా రూ. 4 కోట్ల గ్రాస్ ని అంటే రూ. 1.5 కోట్ల షేర్ మాత్రమే అందుకుంది. ఇక ఈ సినిమా బ్రేక్ ఈవెన్ సాధించాలంటే రూ. 12 కోట్ల షేర్ ను అయితే సంపాదించాలి. ఇక రేపటి నుంచి ఈ మూవీకి వీకెండ్ కావడంతో ఆ రెండు రోజులు బాగానే కలెక్షన్ వచ్చే అవకాశం కనబడుతుంది.

Agathiyaa Movie Review: A Disappointing Period Horror-Thriller

Aghathiyaa is the latest Tamil movie, which has been dubbed into Telugu and was released in theaters today. The film stars Jiiva, who recently starred in a scientific-horror film Black, and Raashi Khanna in the lead roles.

Story:

Aghathiyaa (Jiiva), an art director, teams up with friends like Veena (Raashi Khanna) to turn an old mansion into a scary house for profit. Soon, they find out that the mansion is haunted. What events unfolded in this bungalow? What links Siddharth, skilled in Siddha medicine, to Edwin Duplix? How does this relate to a unique planetary alignment occurring once every 85 years? As the narrative unfolds, these mysteries come to light.

Performances:

Arjun suits his role, but his character does not have much impactful writing despite being almost the lead. While Jiiva does a decent job, he has little room for growth except for a handful of emotional instances. Raashi Khanna is okay. Redin Kingsley and Edward Sonnenblick do a fine job as supporting actors. Rohini, the actress, undergoes an unexpected change for her character and is okay. 

Analysis:

Agathiyaa tries to blend India’s traditional medicine and history with a horror plot. However, the intent does not match the execution. Some jump scares are effective, but the flashback episodes with Arjun Sarja, which deal with the ancient Indian Medicine concept begin promisingly yet falter in pacing. The excitement fades because of an imperfect link between past and present scenes. The second half especially fails to engage. The climax’s animated action sequence lacks impact and is silly.

Agathiyaa Movie Review and Verdict:

Aghathiyaa is a disappointing period horror thriller. Except for a few handful of moments, the film fails to connect. It suffers from a routine plot, inconsistent narration, and underwhelming thrills.
