Mohanlal came up with Hridayapoorvam this Onam, after two back-to-back blockbusters, Empuran and Thudaram. Hridayapoorvam posts good numbers on its first weekend at the box office.
Even though the film had a tough competitor in the form of Lokah, which received super positive talk and big craze after the release. Hridayapoorvam succeeded in posting good numbers at the box office with the help of Mohanlal’s stardom.
The film has collected close to 35 Cr gross on the opening weekend, and for its genre/budget, it is definitely a good collection. The film needs to maintain the same momentum on weekdays and should target 70 Cr+ in its full run.
Mohanlal is having a very good year with 2025, as Empuraan, though it received mixed talk, managed to score an industry hit. Another release, Thudarum, put up big benchmarks and became a massive blockbuster, and now Hridayapooravam is also emerging as a success.
