Kudumbasthan Movie OTT release date

Manikandan has emerged as one of the most promising actors in Tamil Nadu thanks to the huge success of Good Night and Lover. He has made a mark in Telugu as well with the film’s OTT success. Good Night streamed on Hotstar and brought great recognition to him. Kudumbasthan, his recent theatrical release has also emerged as a success and has further boosted the young actor’s market.

Kudumbasthan was released for Republic Day weekend and worked extremely well at the Box office collecting more than 25 Cr gross in Tamil Nadu. Considering the ROI on the budget, this film is the biggest Kollywood blockbuster of the year.

The makers could have released the Telugu version as well and it could have worked here as well. But now, all eyes are on the film’s OTT release. Kudumbasthan received unanimous positive reviews and Manikandan’s performance also garnered great applause., The film is a feel-good family entertainer and could have done great in Telugu states.

The movie’s digital rights were bought by Zee 5 long before the theatrical release. Kudumbasthan is expected to stream on Zee 5 from next week in all south Indian languages. Even Telugu audience are eagerly waiting for this film’s OTT release.

Legal blow to PVR INOX

There have been multiple complaints against the leading Multiplex Chain, PVR INOX about the delay in beginning the show of a film at the scheduled time. The management displays many Advertisements leading to the frustration of the Audience who are seated. Many netizens have also addressed this issue on social media platforms tagging the Multiplex handle but they haven’t cared.

But the Multiplex chain has now received a major shock from a Court which ordered it to pay a fine of ₹1 Lakh to a Man who filed a lawsuit against it for the same issue. The Man from Bengaluru claimed that 25 minutes of Advertisements were displayed before the start of the show wasting his time. He also argued that Audience expects the film to start at the time that is mentioned and also added that they are forced to sit through these lengthy commercials.

Taking his complaint seriously, the court ruled the case in favour of him imposing a fine of ₹1 Lakh on PVR INOX. The court, additionally, also ordered the Multiplex chain to clearly mention the Actual start of the film on tickets ensuring that the viewers are not misled about when the film will actually begin. Netizens are hailing the judgement of the court and feel that this would ensure the time does not get wasted on unnecessary advertisements.

Tollywood Actor Naga Chaitanya struck gold with his Thandel. The Actor who needed a big hit after continuous failures has delivered a memorable blockbuster with the film. Thandel has collected 85 crores till now and also became one of the highest grossers for a Tier 2 Actor. Thanel’s OTT streaming date has also been locked now by the makers.

The Digital rights of the film were bagged by Netflix for a record price, and around 1/3rd of the budget was said to be covered by this sale. Thandel will be streamed on Netflix from the 6th of March. The team is also expecting to attract other language viewers from this as the film didn’t perform well in the other language markets. Chandoo Mondeti whose previous film, Karthikeya 2 became a big hit in Hindi didn’t pull the Audience to the theatres.

On the other hand, Thandel is based on real life, an incident involving fishermen who were mistakenly caught at Pakistani borders and an arrest followed later to their distress and how they fought against them to return to India. Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi delivered one of their finest performances backed by heart-wringing Music composed by Devi Sri Prasad. Produced by Geetha Arts, the film is produced by Bunny Vas and presented by Allu Aravind.

Good Bad Ugly Teaser arriving

Good Bad Ugly starring Ajith is currently being shot and the film is also carrying great hype and expectations. The film is also said to be an out-and-out commercial entertainer for Ajith after many years. Tollywood Production House Mythri Movie Makers is venturing into Kollywood with this film as well. Now, Good Bad Ugly Teaser is set to arrive on YouTube.

Recent release of Ajith, Vidaamuyarchi received negative reviews and grossed only 140 crores worldwide emerging as a Box office failure. So, fans and audience are pinning their hopes on Good Bad Ugly highly. The teaser is said to be released next week. If this clicks well, then the film will enhance the hype factor more.

Directed by Adhik Ravichandran, the film is slated for release on 10th April worldwide, and premieres are also being planned for the night of the 9th. The promotional activities of the film will be kick-started with the release of the Teaser. Ajith must come back strong with the film to stay in the competition.

Chhaava, the latest historical film from Bollywood is creating a massive impact at the box office and audiences are raving about it. However, if we look at our Telugu directors’ historical biopics, like Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy and Gautami Putra Satakarni, they turned out to be failures.

Audiences show much interest in watching historical biopics, as there are many legends in Indian history. People want to know their story. Now the latest release Chhaava is moving the audience emotionally, and the people are crying in the theatres by seeing the film and it happened for more films in the past.

But somehow, Telugu directors failed to achieve this with their recent films. In recent years we have seen Gauthami Putra Satakarni, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, Rudramadevi, and many more, but no movie has moved the audiences or made any strong impact.

Even Rajamouli’s RRR worked as a commercial film, but no one really connected to the legendary persons Komaram Bheem and Alluri Seetaramaraju, as the movie was made with a different and fictional storyline. Putting aside the box office results, our Telugu directors’ historical biopics, like Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy and Gautami Putra Satakarni failed to create the required effect among audiences.

We need to wait and see who can make a successful and impactful historical film from the Telugu Film Industry. With the help of the Pan-India market, if a perfect film comes from Tollywood with a real-historical backdrop, then it makes a strong impact across languages.

A few days back, Bollywood news portals reported that Kill Director Nikhil Nagesh Bhatt is interested in collaborating with Ram Charan, and some discussions also happened between them. The latest reports suggest that Vijay Deverakonda is in consideration for the film, and not Ram Charan.

Now the news from Tollywood circles is that yes, there is truth in Kill’s director being in plans to do a film with a Telugu hero, but it’s Vijay Deverakonda and not Ram Charan. Reportedly, the initial discussions also said to have happened between Nagesh and Vijay.

Vijay Deverakonda targers Pan-Indian Box Office

Vijay Devarakonda undoubtedly has a very large fanbase in Tamil and Hindi along with Telugu. The Liger movie’s Hindi version opened very well in North India, and in Tamil Nadu he is one of the biggest stars from Tollywood, and he just needs the right film to deliver a pan-India blockbuster.

All the films of the Arjun Reddy actor are being made by targeting the pan-India market. His upcoming film, Kingdom Teaser was released recently and received good response. His next film is with Rahul Sankrityan (Taxiwala), which is also a huge-budget pan-Indian film. If everything goes well with Kill Director, then it will be another pan-India project for Vijay Devarakonda.

Even though Vijay Devarakonda’s recent films are failures, the industry people believe he is very much capable of delivering a big blockbuster, and even audiences also feel that. With Kingdom, he is likely to get a big break at the pan-India level. Slowly, Tollywood stars are expanding their market into pan-India level, and Vijay Devarakonda is ready to join the list.

NTR’s Dragon Set to Soar

NTR and Prashanth Neel joined hands for an epic action film that is being produced by Mythri Movies and NTR Arts. The movie’s working title is Dragon. With the announcement itself, the film saw a massive craze, and the fans kept waiting for the film’s commencement. After all the delays, NTR’s Dragon is all set to soar.

NTR 31 was supposed to start last year itself, but the film faced many issues like Salaar 2 plans and delay in the pre-production works. Finally, the film is going on set this Thursday [20th February]. However, NTR will not be participating in this schedule as he will work on War 2 first, and after completing it, he will join this film’s sets. Most probably NTR will join the sets from the 2nd schedule.

The film is said to be the costliest film from Prashant Neel, and it will reportedly have a bigger scale than Salaar and the KGF series. Most of the shooting is said to be done in foreign locations. Rukmini Vasanth is playing the lead actress in this film. Meanwhile, Tarak fans are so happy that NTR’s Dragon is all set to soar.

The film was announced to be released on Sankranthi 2026 long back. But as the film did not go on sets as per plans. So we need to see how Prashant Neel and the team manage to complete shooting by this year itself.

There will be massive expectations on this film because of the Devara actor and KGF director combination. NTR 31 is expected to be different from the earlier films of Prashanth Neel.

Tamannaah’s special song, Kaavalayya, worked big for Rajini’s Jailer, and Pooja Hegde also did the special songs previously in Rangasthalam and F3. So, let us wish that history repeats with Coolie as well.

Kollywood Actor Suriya stunned everyone with his appearance as Rolex in the climax portion of Vikram directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The scene also teased a standalone film for the character among fans and audiences. Lokesh Kanagaraj is currently busy with his Coolie starring Rajinikanth and has also lined up Kaithi 2 starring Karthi which was planned long ago.

There was also buzz about Lokesh Kanagaraj teaming up with Aamir Khan for a film after these films. But Fans and Audience, as said, are waiting eagerly for him to take up the Rolex film as early as possible. The Character has gained a cult following on social media platforms and its references are plentiful in films as well.

Now, it is learned that, Rolex is said to go on sets immediately after the completion of Kaithi 2 which is produced by KVN Productions. So, this is really a great news for them who have been wanting this to happen for a long time. Suriya, on the other hand suffered a big jolt with Kanguva and is hoping to come back well with his Retro. If Retro clicks well, then the hype for Rolex will touch the sky undoubtedly.

No delays, Hari Hara Veera Mallu release locked

Hari Hara Veera Mallu starring Pawan Kalyan has been delayed for a long time. The film is currently in the post production stage and the team has announced the release date for 28th March a long back. But there have been rumors that the movie is likely to postpone its release again. With this, Robinhood and Mad Square have been announced for release on the same date as Hari Hara Veera Mallu.

Producer A.M. Rathnam has given a big update on the film Hari Hara Veera Mallu, starring Powerstar Pawan Kalyan. He announced that the movie will release in theaters on March 28 as previously stated, under any circumstances. He assured that the work is progressing accordingly and that there is no need for any concerns.

He said that they will release the film as planned and are completing the remaining shoot involving Pawan Kalyan. It is already known that the film unit gave a key update on Valentine’s Day. The makers revealed that the second single, a romantic song titled Kollagottindiro, will be released on February 24 at 3 PM.

Pawan Kalyan is also said to allot dates at this month’s end for the team to finish his portion. The team is also committed to complete the shoot as early as possible. So, if Hari Hara Veera Mallu releases on 28th March, Robinhood and Mad Square which made the release plan for the same period must be postponed.

The first single somehow failed to create the hype needed for the film, but the second single’s poster received a good response. Hopefully, this song will give the film a much-needed boost.

Definitely, if the film releases on March 28th, it will take full advantage of the summer festivals like Ugadi, Ramzan, Sriramanavmi, and the Good Friday holiday. It’s the best date for a big film.
